Guest Conduct Policy Hero

Guest Conduct Policy

Our Guest Conduct Policy is intended to help ensure that all guests are able to participate in a safe and enjoyable cruise experience and sets forth standards of conduct for guests to follow throughout their Azamara vacation, so that everyone enjoys the experience.

POLICIES FOR ALL GUESTS

This Guest Conduct Policy is intended to help ensure that all guests are able to participate in a safe and enjoyable cruise experience and sets forth standards of conduct for guests to follow throughout their Azamara vacation, including transfers to and from ships, inside terminals, while onboard, at ports-of-call, and during shore excursions.

This policy is not intended to be all inclusive, and it is likely there will be conduct issues that it does not specifically address. In that event, as in all others, guests are expected to follow the direction of the ship’s Captain who will take appropriate action to ensure the safety, security and well-being of our guests. In addition to this policy, guests are expected to comply with all applicable laws of the various countries that their cruise visits.

For the safety and pleasure of all guests, Azamara asks all guests to be aware of the Guest Conduct Policy, rights to Refusal to Transport and the rules and regulations in the Cruise Ticket Contract.

In certain rare cases, Azamara must unfortunately refuse transport or booking to a guest. Such cases can include but are not limited to government requests, extreme natural circumstances (such as severe weather), or failure on the part of a guest to provide proof of identity or acceptable international travel documentation (e.g., a passport) when requested.

No guest will be refused transport based upon race, color, national origin, religion, sex, ancestry or sexual orientation. Azamara may remove a guest or refuse transport for any other reason at its sole discretion, for guests’ comfort and safety.

Our ships have a designated smoking area, located on the portside forward section of the pool deck (Deck 9, over by the Club Spa Suites).  The smoking area is clearly marked.

For our guests' comfort and health, all other areas of the ship are non-smoking, including public rooms, restaurants, pool decks, staterooms and suites, verandas and halls.

Please note: this policy includes products such as electronic cigarettes/vapes. Each violation will result in a $250 fine.

1. Guests are welcome to bring drones on their cruise for use on land only and outside of the port area. Drones are not to be operated onboard the ship at any time.

2. Different countries may have different rules. Guests assume full responsibility for understanding all local authority rules related to drone usage and for obtaining any required permissions for drone operations. Any liability, including environmental damage from drone usage is the guest's responsibility. Azamara assumes no liability for guest drones that may be confiscated by local authorities for violating local laws or for any accident or injury resulting from a guest drone flight.

3. While onboard, drones must be stored safely in the stateroom. Drones used on the ship will be confiscated till the end of the cruise. A Guest Conduct Policy warning will be issued and guests may be subject to disembarkation at their own expense for onboard drone usage.

DEPARTING FROM A SHIP

Parents or guardians must not permit any guest in their care under age 18 from leaving a ship in any port without responsible adult supervision.

PARENTAL AND GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITY

For purposes of this Guest Conduct Policy, a minor is defined as anyone under the age of 18. A young adult is defined as anyone ages 18, 19 or 20. Parents and guardians are responsible for the behavior and appropriate supervision of their accompanying minor(s) and young adult(s) throughout their vacation. This obligation applies during transfers to and from ships, inside terminals, while onboard, at our ports of call, during shore excursions and at our private destinations. This responsibility applies at all times, regardless of whether the parents and guardians are physically in the company of their minor(s) and young adult(s). Under no circumstances should the parent or guardian of a minor debark the ship without their accompanying minor(s) or without having made arrangements for the accompanying minor(s) appropriate supervision on the ship during their absence.
